I currently work as part of the St. Clair – Detroit River Initiative for the U.S. Geological Survey Great Lakes Science Center and the University of Toledo. I have a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University and an M.S. in Conservation Biology from Central Michigan University. My thesis focused on the movements of Double-crested Cormorants in northern Lake Michigan.
I enjoy working in the lab and in the field, and I am particularly interested in benthic organisms–like tardigrades! I spend my free time drawing, painting, hanging out with my rabbits and pomeranian, and listening to podcasts.
